Encompass - By Jo Day

Encompass was driven by the desire to create commercial furniture using both recycled and sustainable materials.

Using these carefully sourced materials, Jo has designed a personal workspace solution enabling the user to escape the distractions of open plan spaces such as busy offices, airport lounges and waiting areas.

As its name suggests, the sitter is ‘Encompassed’ by a circular screen that reduces peripheral vision and external noise distractions offering privacy for focused work, making calls or simply a quiet place to relax.

As the ultimate curvilinear shape, the circle embodies all the attributes that attract us to it. It is a safe, gentle pleasant shape that evokes calmness, peacefulness and relaxation which in turn helps Encompass aid physical and emotional wellbeing particularly within the workplace.

Internally, there are profile shaped upholstered seat and back cushions for optimal comfort and within the 1.2 metre wide work space optional extras available such as a side arm, writing tablet and power supply.

The standard finishes offer a variety of pallets for those wishing to make a creative, bold statement with a playful element to cool muted tones for a calm and relaxed feel.
